About
Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has partnered to assist businesses to improve their financial and book-keeping practices by encouraging businesses to abandon their current method of manual book-keeping or spreadsheet-style accounting and implement a proper accounting software solution.
Accounting software is a helpful tool to assist businesses, especially SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises) and pop-and-mom small businesses to improve their record keeping practises and GST (Goods & Services Tax) compliances.
The partnership of IDA and IRAS has cultivated the Accounting Software Assistance Scheme, and will only be valid from July 1st 2009 to March 31st 2012.
This scheme is to encourage businesses to implement accounting software and it is done by helping to defray the cost of purchasing andĀ setting up of the accounting software, as well as training on the use of the software.
Please feel free to read more about the benefits of the scheme to you and also the eligibility for the scheme for your business. If there is any questions you have regarding this Singapore government grant, please feel free to contact us. Please see here for the application procedure.
