Applying For Accounting Software Assistance Scheme
- Please contact us so that we can assign our consultant* to get in touch with you.
- Your assigned consultant will preview your application and assist you to be compliant with the application requirements.
- Your assigned consultant will then assist you to submit all forms and quotations or invoices for processing.
- Please note that even though you may be eligible based on the criteria, submission of application does not guarantee a confirmed successful application. Other criteria might be considered under special circumstances.
Upon Successful Application
Congratulations, your application is successful.
- You will receive Letter of Offer from IDA Singapore.
- Once you accept the Letter of Offer and inform your consultant, they will start the procurement and setting up of your accounting systems.
- Please keep proper financial records, e.g. expenses, invoices, receipts related to setting up your accounting systems.
- Please ensure your payment to the consultant is in full and completed.
- Your subsidy is on a reimbursement basis and that the initial cost that you bear will be reimbursed by IDA upon submission of the necessary invoices and documents by your assigned consultant.
Claiming For Reimbursement
- In order to claim for your grant, you and/or your consultant must complete the setting up of your accounting systems within 6 months of receiving the Letter of Offer from IDA, including the deployment and training.
- All cost for the project MUST be paid for, as the grant is given on a reimbursement basis.
- Fill in the claim form provided by IDA Singapore, adhering yourselves to the procedures. (Check with your consultant if you are unsure of the procedures.)
- Submit the claim form together with your financial records (to be done by your assigned consultant).
- All claims must be submitted within 6 months of project completion.
- Wait 3-4 weeks for IDA Singapore to release your grant.
- You will be given a cheque.
Disclaimer
*The assignment, application, procurement and training for the software will be done by assigned consultant not directly affiliated with Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), though the submission of applications and the approval of the application will be entirely up to the decision by IDA.
Assigned consultant will not be able to dictate the success or failure for the application nor able to determine the exact date of reimbursement of funds to the applicants, but assigned consultant is expected to work closely with IDA for the applications and to provide the applicants a smooth and fuss-free application process.
