Benefits
The benefits of this scheme is to assist businesses to defray their operating cost and also to encourage businesses to switch from manual accounting methods to using automated accounting software.
Singapore-based enterprises which qualifies for this accounting software assistance scheme will receive a one-time government grant of up to 50% of the qualifying cost. The qualifying costs include:-
- cost of the accounting software, which must be listed in the IRAS Accounting Software Register
- cost related to installation/ deployment of the accounting software
- cost of training on use of the software
These qualifying costs will capped at a maximum amount of S$1,500 per SME.
Successful applicants will be reimbursed with the amount stipulated above and do note that full and complete payment of all costs involved must be made prior to claim submission.
