  1. When will this assistance scheme expire?

    This scheme will be available from July 1st 2009 to March 31st 2012. You can refer to http://asas.sg/about for more information about this scheme.

  2. I've applied successfully for the GST Assistance Scheme and have already purchased an accounting software. However, we discovered that the software is not suitable for us. Can I apply for this Accounting Software Assistance Scheme and get another accounting software?

    Sorry, you are not allowed to apply for this scheme if you have previously applied successfully for other financial grant. Also, this scheme is only for those who never used an accounting software before. You can refer to http://asas.sg/eligibility for more information.

  3. Which accounting software can I buy using this grant?

    You are only allowed to buy those software that are listed in the IRAS Accounting Software Register. These are the software that are compliant to the e-Tax Guide from the IRAS.

  4. We tried to apply for the GST Assistance Scheme previously on our own, but was unsuccessful. Can we try again with this Accounting Software Assistance Scheme?

    Yes you may, however, there must be a valid reason why your previous application was not successful. It is advisable for you to contact us so that our independent consultant can provide you with the necessary assistance to ensure a successful application for you.

  5. Hi, our LLP fulfils everything except we are not GST registered. Can we still apply?

    To apply, the first requirement is to be GST-registered or to have the intention of registering for GST. Please contact us at http://asas.sg/contact-us for more details.
